My sister-in-law just found out her brother (he is 32 yrs old with a 2yr old son and 6 mo old son) has cancer. At first it was thought it was just in his lung, (since he has a tumor the size of a fist in it) then Tuesday night they find out it is in his lung and liver also. Now, last night he was laying on the couch with his baby and had a seizure and fell off the couch onto his face (bloody nose & stuff baby is ok). This turned out to be a brain aneurism secondary to cancer in his brain. Right now there is massive bleeding and swelling of his brain they may have to release the pressure, but believe it or not he is still awake but doesn't remember anything. They said there is nothing they can do for him, just make him as comfortable as they can. So, this is been less than a week since they found out the results and he is already extremely sick. Please keep him, his wife and children in your prayers. We are not sure how long he will make it, but any prayers are helpful.

Thanks everyone for all your support. As of this evening he is going to have another CT scan on his brain (he has 3 spots that they are pretty sure is cancer), a brain biopsy tomorrow morning, and they they will go from there-the radiologist came in before they all left for the night and said it doesn't look good. So, let me sum this up-he has 3 tumors they are pretty sure is cancer on his brain, lung and liver cancer and he found this out all this week. His wife left him today-she said she couldn't handle it (they have only emergency insurance) and he is the money maker of the family. So, she had kind of a "nervous breakdown" and took the kids, called her dad and he picked them up, she hasn't been back to the hospital since early this afternoon. My sister-in-law had to call her to tell her about the biopsy tomorrow morning-I guess she doesn't want to go there until later in the day. I am sure it is hard for her, but I can't understand how she could leave his bed side with all that is going on. Thanks again everyone for all your support and prayers I will update all of you tomorrow.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry:( I will keep Tom and your family in my prayers. I really hope his wife will come around, he really needs the love and support of his entire family right now. I know it must be difficult for her but he really needs her. Please know everyone is in our prayers.
