hi my boy spike who is 11 weeks old did someing that shocked me
he was siting on my knee and i was play fighting with my big sister and when she hit me spike made a jump at her to bit her and then every time she came nare me he would bark and growl at her and if she tryed to toch me he wold snap at her is this normal i know boxers can be protcitve but at 11 weeks old i found that odd does any one know what could be causeing this and he did the same thing to my cousin when she went to give me a hug please help

Seems,that Spike wanted to play with you and your sister,Avra does it every time that i would play with my daughter...and she not a puppy anymore To me it's not something to worry.

We have 2 boxers and they are very protective of me. I think they are afraid I can't protect myself. They also get very jelous of people paying attention to someone other than them. I would tell him no on the bitting part but otherwise be gald he loves you so much.

My 3 yr old gets very upset when my husband and I are goofing around, or Ken is trying to tickle me. Normally Mason is very passive,,, I find it somewhat comforting and humerous that he gets his panty's in a bunch and protects me. I don't think it odd that your baby is exhibiting this so your, you've obviously bonded!
