Here is me situation. My 4 month old boxer has been having some problems lately. He has been unhealthy from the moment we got him. From colds to worms you name it. His appetite is good and he is very playful and full of energy. Lately he has been peeing in the house and in the hallway, and he is peeing a lot, sometimes 10 times during the day. Someitmes he pees when he is just sitting and walking like he doesn't know that he is going. We took him to the vet and they said is could be a urinary track infection. He is talking medicine for a cold and it is the same as what he would take for the UTI. I want to know if this could be a behavorial issue, like he is depressed or made when we are not giving him full attention. We also moved recently could that have been the problem. He was always really good baout not going tin the house. I don't know what to do, does anybody having any ideas.

If he's only 4 months, is he housebroken? If he is, I have heard that puppies can regress. Have you tried employing the same methods you did when you first got him to encourage him to go outside? Though I have never raised a pup from 8 weeks on, I would suspect that peeing 10+ times in a day is normal. I know I have read on BW that a pup will be playing and not even pause to let you knew he has to go potty and proceed to pee right then and there. It sounds like this is what your pup is doing.
I would try retraining him like you did before.. He could possibly be confused as to where he is to go or how to tell you because he is in a new unfamiliar place. I had the same problem with my puppy when we moved. But im worried how u say he walks and pees like he doesnt know what is going on. If he is frequently urinating small amounts and the medicine doesnt seemt o be helping i would suggest to the vet possibly culturing him to see exactly what kind of antibiotic you will need for his particulat UTI (if he has one.) or possibly get a second opinion at another vet.
Well, my pup, Brocky is now 4 and 1/2 months and we moved just a little bit ago too.. But brocky didn't have a problem one bit about the new house. my boxer was not sick though. Brock didn't even notice when he was going about a month or two ago.. but i thought that was just normal for his young age, but now he is almost trained. Is he pottytrained yet, and just started this, peeing in the house?

Any resolution on the peeing issue?
If not you may want to read our story. We are quite familiar with this problem, we have a 2 yr old male, Caesar, who was also had every issue know to dogs and then some! He was house trained then started peeing in the house, not full squat pees but like you said just dripping out without knowing it. He has been to 6 different vets and 2 well know area hospitals. Finally we had some answers for the best, Tufts. His urethra was not closing properly which lead to infection after infection (UTI, Kidney and Bladder) and to boot his bladder was stuck between the stomach area and his pelvic bone, so it was being squeezed in half so it always felt full. He has since had surgery to fix this issue, this helped and he was cured for 4-5 mths no dripping! Then out of the blue it started again. He seperatley then combined has been on phenylpropanolamine 50 mg (to tighten the muscles in the sphincter to keep from dripping) also on Flavoxate 100mg (for spastic bladder). Now we are treating yet another infection then going for the last option we have availible before diapers which is testosterone shots once a month. I hope to GOD that you do not have this same problem and that it is just the cause of the infection. We have been so hopeful that something would work...
