Problem with Advil
So thankful to know Jackson is okay - I had a similar situation. Left bag from traveling on the floor of bedroom, puppy found Advil bottle and chewed on it for fun. Once open, she ate almost 100 of them - they are coated with a vanilla coating. Even my older dog, whom I assumed would never eat them, ate about 15. I know because the emer vet gave them charcoal, both threw up lots of pills. Interestingly, the pills from the puppy's stomach were well on their way to being dissolved in her stomach. Older dog (10years) had pills that still had the coating on them. Vet said the slower metabolism helped. Both had not kidney damage, but it did teach me an important lesson. If it is accessible, they will find it.
