Boxer Pal
This all started early this morning, my boxer joe woke me up, with out of control muscle spasms. This only happens when he puts his head down to sleep or rest. First thing I did was call the Vet (emergency vet). He told me to take him for short walk to see if he could walk it off. Well after the walk he seemed fine, he is eating and pooping and doesn't seem to be in any pain. But when we went back to bed it all started up again. This time I called the vet back and told him I was bringing him in. On the way there Joe was tring to lay down in the car, while having these muscle spasms. Other than that he was fine. We get to the vets and he is acting totaly normal no signs of walking funny, we even trired to have him lay down nothing. Well the vet thought he could of been having an allergy reaction, or could of hurt himself. So he gave him an injection of Metacam and Benadryl. Well Joe was fine for a few hours, then when he wanted to lay down and go to sleep again the spasms started, not as bad. I called the vet and told him that it was happening again. He told me to give him some more benadryl (the spasms seem to be only in his legs) The vet also told me that he has a mild heart murmmer, but because of his age of 3 he didn't think that was the problem. Well I'm worried sick, please help!
