ears

I agree with Genie on the tampons. I used Tampax with the cardboard applicator when I had one of my boys done. It took some time but he ended up with pretty nice ears.

Good Luck:)

"BreatheRite Strips" They are little plastic strips that you are supposed to put over the bridge of your nose when you are sick to help you breathe. You can find them in the drug store. But they work great as stays in the tips of newly-standing ears. But you need to use surgical adhesive to stick them in because the sticky on the strips isn't strong enough.

This thread is very helpful!

Is there something that I can put on my pup's ears to help him cope with it being alittle irritated? Neosporin?

My Vet said that I should just leave the ears alone. Let the ears heal by themselves.

Any suggestions/comments?

I did use neosporin on the ears and I also started putting vitamin e cream on as well. My breeder had suggested the neosporin to stop any chance of infection, and my vet suggested vitamin e to help it heal faster and ensure that there were no scars.
