Thank you Andie!! It looks awesome!! Riley loves food (what a surprise!!) so I'm thinking that he'd enjoy getting one of those. Especially, if I put cheese or peanut butter in it. Those are his two *biggest* weaknesses. ;) I'm definitely going to check into it. Thanks again!! :)

My boy is lazy, I guess?

My guy is just plain old lazy, I guess? The opposite of your dog "sam9558".
I mean when I first got Chopper until maybe a week ago he was so interjected and now has become soooo....lazy, it seems he doesn't want to play anymore in or outside. Yes, it has become real cold the past couple of weeks here in New Jersey and maybe he just doesn't want to play outside. But, he also doesn't want to engage in any play inside either, or play with my kids, wich normally he would do. He has a lot of toys and bones we rotate weekly so he doesn't become bored. It looks like he wants to hibernate, he'll just go outside for his walks (he does like his walks he jumps up and down for), eat, and sleep nothing else, he doesn't even care to go outback to go and do his bathroom breaks. Just last night, he was laying on his bed, I crawled over to maybe engage in some wrestling or playing with his rope and he started to growl at me. I thought he was going to snap or bit me, I didn't expect that reaction. I did finallly get him to play a little until he just wanted to go back and lay on his bed to go to sleep.
Boy I wonder whats going to happen when he gets his neutering this month, I mean anymore calmer and you might think he is just a stuffed animal.:D Or maybe he's becoming an old man, he will turn 3 years old this January.:(

I guess time will tell.......
Thanks
Bill

Bill if this is not normal behavior and he was playing not long ago you might want to run him to the vet. Any significant change in a dog's behavior should be looked at closely, maybe he is trying to let you know something is going on. Let us know if you find out anything.

When Lily first came home, I found a quote which I always said to myself whenever she was a little rowdy, "A tired puppy is a good puppy." sleepicon

Sam...another possibility with all the pacing is something is stressing your baby. has there been any change in routine, other than it being cold outside. that possibly is causing some doggy stress. My Bucabu is so attuned to the way things are in our lives that he gets whiney when things are off for him.
