Hi again. If you've read my previous posts, you know that my Chewy has been in the vet all week, Mon-Fri. I was so excited to have him home, but it seems that he is still not his 100% self. It makes me sad to see him this way. He's barely eating his food, and has lost some weight. When I picked him up on Fri, the vet told me to come in again on Monday to re-test, and I have a horrible feeling it's going to be more bad news. I'm not ready to see my baby go, but it makes me so sad to see him moping everywhere. The vet said I can feed him scrambled eggs, and he will eat that, but not his k/d food. I think he doesn't like it. I don't know, but keep praying for my Chewy.
Please help me stay optimistic

I would just feed him anything that he wants to eat. As long as he eats something.

chewysmom Hang in there. Chewy wants to get better or he wouldn't be eating and drinking anything. I know they look so pathetic when they are sick, and it is so hard to look in those eyes that are so sad and depressed looking, I know this, because Shakira has been sick also, not as sick as Chewy, but sick enough that she had me very worried. I am sending you all the boxer vibes and healing vibes that I can muster and we will be praying that Chewy will be beaning and wooing all over the place here real soon.
