Please can you help

Hi all

I have a 1 year old westie and my son wants to buy a boxer puppy, my daughter has an adorable boxer but for some reason whenever she brings him to my house my westie gets quite nasty with him. What can I do to make them friends and should I let my son buy a boxer puppy, my son by the way is 23 and very responsible. We would love to have another dog but are worried about what impact it would have on our westie. Please does anyone have any advise for me

I have a 1 1/2 year old doxie when I fell in love with my little boxer pup Zoey. Since stinky was not use to sharing his turf with anyone, I first introduced them outside of the house. I took Stinky to the Kenell where I got Zoey to see how they would be together. I think this introduction outside of the house worked out well. Stinky did (and sometimes) still does not like sharing "his" space, but for the most part they get along relly well. You might want to try introducing them outside of the house to get an idea of how they interact.
