Playtime in New Jersey?

Hi Boxer lovers,
I was hoping that I could find some friends in New Jersey or the surrounding areas to have a Boxer Bash! The best location is probably at Thompson Park in Lincroft, it is a fenced-in acre and the pooches can go unleashed. Let me know if anyone is in? Last time about 10 Boxer owners showed up with their loved ones...it was a blast!!!

Looking forward to getting all of our Boxers together...my 1 year old 'Harry' can't wait!

Caesar amd I will be there with bells on (OK... Caesar says no to the bells)... I'm posting it out on some of the mailing lists as well. We had a great time back in the Spring guys.

Hi Everyone,
Just an update: beacuse on the board it doesn't seem like we have been getting too much action. Actually, through other Boxer mailing lists we have at least 14 people, some whom have multiple Boxers, in on the bash. Sept 29th seems to be the temp date...but I will keep this board posted.

:) HI i am new to the boards, but i see that you are going to have a boxer bash, my fiancee and I live in long branch, and we are trying to find playmates for my 4 month old boxer "Duke", if it is alright with you we would love to come and meet all the other boxer lovers in our area,,,hope to hear from you soon....Kerri

Can't wait to meet you guys. The date is definitely planned for the weekend of Sept 29th, and I will post later what exact date and time. I the meantime...you should try out Thompson Park with Duke...it is opened everyday until dark. He will love it!

Cola and I would love to come....I live near McGuire AFB, so how far are you away from me...and will us skin people be bbq'n or what do we do for food for our furbabies as I have never been to a BOXER BASSSHHH!!!!!:D

So glad to hear that you will be joining us. The park is 2 minutes off of Exit 109. Very close by! I will post directions closer to the date. There are park benches there, so you may bring whatever it is you would like to eat. Unfortunately, there is no standing barbeque. I think that the smell might tease the other dogs in the park...although if anyone disagrees please correct me. If you have anymore questions please ask away. In the meantime, we can't wait to meet you and Cola.

I'm sorry did you say exit 109? I'm not familiar, I know exit 10 or 9 on the NJ turnpike but anyway I will just wait for you directions....can't wait to meet you too :)
