Playtime in New Jersey?

Take GSP South to Exit 109 Red Bank. After toll, make a right at the light onto Newman Springs Road. Take this about two miles down, past a shopping center, through Phalanx Ave, past Thompson Park red sign, past Brookdale college. Ater the college you will see a white newer sign that says Thompson Park, go past that and make your next left. There will be a white sign that says arts and crafts on it. After you make your left, follow to end and make a right. Go straight back and follow around to your right. The park is in the back corner.

Debbie & Dozer - From Old Bridge, it will be quickest to take Route 18 South to Rt. 520 East (Red Bank Exit). It's the first exit after Route 9 South off 18. Once you are on 520 East, you will be on there for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass the intersection for Routes 79, then 34, then Holmdel Rd. 4. The last traffic light you will pass there will be a merge from the right lane and on your left you will see a new home development. Shortly after that light on your left will be the sign for Christian Brothers Academy and on your right will be a smaller white sign that will say "Craft Barn", "Activity Barn" "Soccer Field". You will make a right turn into that small entrance road. (If you come to a big sign that says Thompson Park, you just passed the smaller sign). You will go to the end of that road where the soccer field is and make a right and take that road to the end where the white buildings are and the parking lot is and you will see the dog park to your right.
Just be sure to take off Dozer's leash once you get inside the small sectioned off fence before you let him loose with the rest of the dogs. It's safer that way. I will be there at around 11:00. Hope to meet you. Lorraine & Guiness:p

I didn't go to the park yesterday. Dozer has a bit of a stomach bug. The poor little guy was throwing up. We went to the vet this morning. He's on an antibiotic and a stomach spasm relaxer med.

I'll be going to Leader of the Pack on Sat morning. Tonight is graduation night for the puppy class so there won't be any playtime.:( :(

I hope he is okay - poor thing. We had to rush my Sami to the emergency vet in Edison a few weeks ago on a sunday night because she was throwing up something awful and she just didn't look good. But thank goodness there was nothing really wrong.

I'm sure he'll be fine too. Keep us posted on him.

I don't know if I can go to leader of the pack this weekend - is Dozer starting a new puppy class?

Hi Gina - Sorry we didn't get to see you this weekend. There were a lot of boxers there - Guiness, Crissy, Harry, Dudley - just to name a few. I couldn't keep track of the names. I'm so bad with names. Let's try again for next weekend - maybe Sunday again at 12:00. That seems to be a good time. Let me know. And Debbie - hopefully Dozer will be feeling better by then (poor boy, it's so sad when they don't feel well). I'd love to meet both of you. Hope to see you next weekend. Lorraine and Guiness:p

Next weekend is not good for me. We have a wedding to go to up in North Jersey. I will definatley get there soon. Dozer needs some friends. He seems to think my son is a puppy.

Dear All,

My girls really need the Park soon! However it is getting very hard to commit on the weekends since the holidays are here. We have a christening to go to on Sunday. I may drop the girls off at doggie day care in the morning or go to the park a bit earlier like 11:00. I will let you know as the week wears on.

I bet Guiness is getting so big by now - I wont even recognize him!!!

Hi All - I am taking Guiness to the dog park around 12:00 on Sunday (the 9th) NO MATTER WHAT!!! He has been so wild - he needs to get rid of some of his pent up energy. Hope some of you can make it. I feel like it's been ages since we got together. Lorraine
