Play time??

My girl is a year old she gets outside to play often, when i try to play with her in the house i take her toys and throw them around for her, but she will go to the toy and sniff it then come and attack me (in a playful way) she will jump on my and want to rough house with me, i refuse to do it because, well shes big and shes rough i've tried turning my back and walking away i know she loves her toys she will play with them herself, im not really sure what to do about this, i do what i can to show her its not okay suggestions?

Can you have a toy prepared for this to draw her attention to, and play some tug with her? She probably just wants to interact directly with you and this is a way that she could. I allow rough housing with Dante occasionally but only because he calms the second I tell him I'm done... So he gets his fix I guess, haha. We also play hide and seek, whether I run off and hide and he chases me or I put him in a sit/stay until I'm ready. Maybe some 1 on 1 playtime not involving toys will give her that interaction with you directly, therefore lowering her need to instigate play in the only way she knows how. As we all know our babies play rough and loud when left to their own devices! Lol. Just a suggestion you could try.
