Play, Play, Play

Just wanted to share this. While I've been reading over some of the postings here on BW, Zoey has wanted me to play with her. She realized that wasn't going to happen so she is now standing at the top of the basement stairs with her large rubber pineapple and tossing or nudging it down the stairs so that it bounces. Runs down after it and starts all over again.

LOL! I can just picture it. Basil will sometimes take his ball and push it all the way down the hill at the dog park. They are so creative.

Herkie does this to me all the time....usually his toy of choice is one of his MANY cuz's....he'll start at the top of the stairs...nudge cuz....cuz plummets to a near death....Herkie rescues him...brings him to the top of the stairs...and then, I've decided Cuz must have a death wish...because he goes rolling down the steps again, and he picks up so much momentum that he bounces off the floor at the bottom of the steps and into the front door!I love it when they make up little games to entertain themselves!

Willis does this on our stairs and the hill in our backyard. It's hysterical because every time it falls, he acts like he didn't know it was going to be bouncing down the hill and pounces on it. Boxers are the funniest!

bailey does it with his red kong. its even better cos it bounces all over the place. youd swear it was a herd of elephants hammering up and down the stairs all night!!!!

Layla always does this too! It's like she tosses it down the stairs and tries to race down to get it before it hits bottom. Cracks me up all the time. She will also take her toys and toss them in the air and then run after them and toss them again. She likes to play catch with herself almost as much as she does with Mom and Dad.

When I am busy witht he baby and Raven wants to play, she will go outside, get her ball and throw it up in the air and then chase after it. I feel so bad watching her do this. Since getting Phoenix she doesnt do it very often now, but when she does, she does it with Phoenix's stuffed cats to get her to come out and play with her.
