This Sunday...
There's going to be a play group meeting this Sunday the 24th at around 11 am at the Hazeldale Dog Park in Aloha. I won't be able to make it, but there should be quite a few other boxers there. Hope some of you guys can finally meet up.

This Sunday is also Dog Day Afternoon from 10-4 which is a fundraiser for the park, so there will be games, prizes, and tons of other dog lovers there to meet. I went 2 years ago and had a lot of fun.

any boxers around NE portland that can meet anywhere other than a dog park? i've seen some in back yards while walking jake. i didn't want to go up and ring the doorbell. haha.

Hi guys!! Let me know when any of you go out to a park around the beaverton area! I've been going to the hazeldale park every couple days in the evenings but not on the weekend. I would like to meet some of you. My pup is still pretty young (five months) but he can play pretty good with some doggies his size.

I am in NE Portland, and am bringing home a new pup in a couple of weeks... I would love to set up some playdates when available!
How old should she be before we start taking her to the doggie parks? I play softball games a couple times a week at the Irv Lind stadium on Halsey and 57th, and my husband can bring her to play during my games. He'd rather play with her, I am sure.

Hi Macie'sMommy, welcome to Boxerworld! Your puppy should have all of her shots before you take her to the park. We will have to set up something soon with all of our babies though.

Great! While I am here, does anyone have a recommendation of a vet in the area? We live in NE - friends have given us a name of a vet in Vancouver, but I wanted to check in and ask here, as well.

Anyone going to be around on Labor Day?? I would really love to meet up with some of you before the summer's up. I'll be gone all weekend so the dogs will really need a good romp when I get back. I'm in Beaverton, but am willing to meet wherever there's some boxers.

There is a nice park in Wilsonville, Memorial Park. I plan on taking the kids (Moose & Maggie) there on Sunday afternoon. I'm sure they would love to meet other boxers for some playtime. Moose needs to get around other dogs. Have a great & safe Holiday weekend.
