I've known many pit bulls, and they have all been wonderful. It's not the breed, its the people who raise the individual dog. Wonderful poem. Thanks for sharing.

 

[Indy B's Mom]

So sad! My neighbors all hated my pit without ever meeting him-it used to really upset me. The one 10 year old told me that her Mom said she couldn't play here with my daughter if Noah was outside with us, because "those dogs always go for the neck and try to kill you". Needless to say, I sent home a very blunt message back to her Mother to inform her that she needs to educate herself and I would be happy to let her meet Noah at any time and until then she could cut out the trash talking of my baby. It used to break my heart how people would judge him without even meeting him.
