Hello all I have a 3month year old puppy named Achilles. Today I discovered what looks like to be a small blister or pimple on his lip. It is really small do I have anything to worry about? Anyone else ever have this problem with there boxer?

Thanks

It is probably nothing to worrry about. If it doesn't go away, you can have your vet check it out next time you are there.

One of my girls, Lexi, has had one for at least 3 months now, and it was black and shiny, and now it's red and ulcerated. We took her to the vet, but they think it just wont heal because she keeps licking it. However, they did give me some antibiotics, and some wipes medicated with Malaceb. (sp?) It hasn't gotten any better, and the vets told me to wait a few months to see, then if it's still as bad, they would check it for a benign type of cancer..... really weird. But it doesn't seem to bother her, it just looks bad.

I agree. Just give it some time. Our Bella had a sore on her mouth. She either scraped it or had blister and eventually it will go away.

Molly our 8 month old gets spots and pimples on her chin. sometimes I think it is when she is chewing on her bone and she rubs her chin, others it is from her Gentle Leader, as she is not very fond of it at first and she paws it trying to get it off, then she calms down and leaves it alone. So consequently the spots never get chance to heal as she is always knocjking the tops off. I bathe them with cotton wool and Savlon and this doesn't seem to have done her any harm.
