Phoebe made it through HOD-now what?

Our 8 month old girl Pheobe had HOD when she was about 6 months old. I'm happy to report she made it through and is acting like a typical boxer puppy now.
When she was sick, along with all the medications we had to give her, our vet suggested a low protein, low fat diet. I put her on Natural Balance duck and potato formula. Now that she is over the illness, I'm not sure if its ok to feed a regular maintenance diet now.
I would greatly appreciate any advice that anyone has, that has dealt with this awful illness.

I would just keep her on the food she is on now.. dont take any chances.. I am so glad she made it through!

Buford has is too.

It sucks! I did the same thing with Buford, he unfortunetly isn't quite over it yet, although he's doing much better. I agree that you should just keep her on the food she's on know. Relapses of HOD have been known to happen and I wouldn't take any chances.
