Peyton's first experiencewith water

I took Peyton to this little walking place we have here in my area and took her for about a 30 min walk. Well on the way back we passed an area where you can go down to the creek (there is a creek that runs through the whole walking area). So I thought it would be a good idea to see how she would react around the water since I had not really had a chance to get her around water. It was in the 70's so it was not too cold for her to be in the water if she so decided to get in. When we got to the water she was not timid at all. To my amazement she jumped right in but the water was over her head and she was not having it. She got out just as soon as she hit the water and that was it she just stood there the rest of the time barking at the water as if to say: I don't like you you just got me all wet. It was a pretty funny experience and I thought you guys might get a kick outta that.

Sorry had to laugh I bet she would like it if she could get in gradually. Darby loves the water but only up to her belly (silly girl).

Too funny!
Grumpy is still SOOO cautious about water - all her friends at the park dive right in and she sits at the edge, maybe sticking a paw in once in a while.
You are so brave Peyton - sorry that mean water got you all wet!
