PetsMart Picture Horror! (Kind of Long)

About 5 years ago I had my 2 cocker's pictures taken at Petsmart and they actually turned out very good. The girl did make one mistake though...she picked up some chains and as soon as the dogs heard that they jumped off the table. They thought it was time to go out.

Last year my groomer had a local photographer come into her shop on a Sunday to take photos. She did an excellent job. Maybe (in the future) you can look for a photographer that specializes in dogs/animals. The photo beside my username is one that she had taken. If I could figure out how to get some more one, I'd have them up too. She truely does an EXCELLENT job! And she is reasonably priced too! She doesn't do package deals you just pick the pics you want and the price is dependent on the size of the photo. Anyone living near the Charlotte, NC area just PM me for her name...she's actually in downtown Fort Mill, SC.

that stinks! I had wanted to get pictures of my pups for cards. does anyone have a positive experience anywhere, especially in MA.
Do you have the Picture People in your area? That's where I went with Riley and Mason last year and they were great. They were very patient with the boys (they really needed the patience) and the pictures came out great. They're a bit on the pricey side, but in my opinion, it's worth it. :)

Well I got Titan's pics back from the Humane Society with Santa- they look really good!! And tonight I picked up his PetSmart ones- they were ok, better then I thought they were going to be. However, he's one of them the lady suggested we redo b/c he was laying down and wouldn't sit up. She thinks she can get him to set up(some guy did it the first time and didnt' care how the dog was positioned) so he will take a better pic. I did buy one group just incase these next ones aren't better. So we'll try the pics again next week and hopefully I'll get in back in time to put in my x-mas cards!! ------Oh, by the way they were redoing a LOT of pics b/c the lady photographer wasn't happy with the pics the guy took---maybe if you talk to her you would get somewhere, or at least have them retaken at no charge.

The photographer was there when I picked them up and she rememebered me because she had a boxer too. Yada, Yada, Yada.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. Almost sounds like you went to the PetSmart in Beavercreek.. did you? Reason I ask is because the lady that did our pics there last week was talking about how she had a boxer too.. a white one I believe.

I would definitely keep pressing. In fact, I need to see if I can get something done about mine. In the pic with us and the dogs, you can see the background. I mean, what's BEHIND the background. The bottom left corner, you can see the table is cut off and can see below where the background image stops. And on the other side, the background was crooked along the WHOLE side, all you see is the wall that was behind that image. And the same thing happened in the pic with Gunner. You can't see it in the image that's in my signature because I promptly brought the pics home and photoshopped them (I'm VERY good at that lol). I even almost completely redid the one of all of us because people who have seen it are complaining they can see Quinsi's "junk" Gunner has holly and stuff in front of him but Quinsi had nothing. So I redid that, cropped the sides out and burned it to a CD and took it to walmart and had 100 4x6 copies made to put in the Christmas cards and also got an 8x10 done of Gunner's pic and same thing with Quinsi's pic (we bought the 8x10 of all of us, this way it'll be semetrical on the wall lol)

Anywho.. as I said before I would definitely press on the matter. If you don't get anywhere, contact the BBB and then I would demand they retake your pics FREE OF CHARGE.

Hopefully it'll work out in the end for you.

So sorry your pics didn't turn out as expected. As someone already suggested, I would most definitely call the corporate office. It worked for me when something similar happened to us at Sears. Good luck ~ Cathy
