Petscaping or Landscaping with pets?

Has anyone ever heard of a book about landscaping if you have pets? We have to do something about our backyard. It is mostly grass and getting shredded by our three dogs. I tried doing a search on Amazon, and wasn't able to sort out any that were geared towards people with pets. Any ideas would be helpful, Thanks!

I have not heard of one, but if you go to www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com, and do a search, you could probably come up with a lot. If you go to a place like Home Depot, or Lowe's, or maybe even Petsmart, they might have books there, too!

I don't do landscaping (we live in an apartment) so I don't have to worry about that just yet! Good Luck!! :D

There is a book on landscaping with dogs. Try www.dogwise.com

Do a search under gardens. It's by Chery Smith and it's called Dog friendly garden, garden friendly dogs

I hear you about the yard...my once grassy backyard was fine with one dog, and now with two it is a shredded mess, more so when all the snow melts and the mayhem begins....I've decided to accept some of it.....dogs will be dogs, and the benefits outweigh the grasslessness!!! I still will be exploring ideas, though!!!
