Pets in the Workplace

No one has ever told us we cannot, but its not encouraged. In the past I would bring Hooligan into my office after his Chemo treatments as the Vet was closer to my office and it made more sense to bring him here then waste more time driving home then back to work. But the reason I can get away with it is because one of the building owners (who works for a different company) is also a boxer owner and he brings his boxer to work all the time and does not even try to hide it. But if we all started it I think they would change the rules. One of my co-workers also has a boxer and she has sneaked her in once or twice. I would love to be able to bring my dog to work then you would not have to worry about rushing home on the dot of 5.

I work in a vet clinic. I bring Dexter almost everyday.

I wish I could. I work at the hospital so unfortunately it's not allowed but if I could I absoutely would.

Nope, unfortunantly I work for the school system so I can't bring my babies with me. I'd love a job where I could or one that atleast had doggie daycare

I am a travel agent, and it is not allowed in our office. However, my boss used to bring his dog in sometimes, but not for the whole day. Muggsey has been in here to visit once and he peed on the tile floor !! Luckily, there were no clients in the office and everyone just laughed. We are all animal lovers in here mostley. There has been a rescued turtle in here that one of the girls found on the road, and also a bird with a broken wing that was found in the parking lot. I would love it if Muggsey could be here for the whole day with me!!!

Chase isn't allowed at my 'real' job (MSN tech engineer) while we are allowed to have little fish. I guess there is a difference between a beta fish and a newfie. At the independant study for school at the humane society I can but don't want anyone to try to adopt her when Im eating lunch in the break room And lastly, my semi-work job is volunteer work at the Veteren's home where Chase comes in to do pet thearpy. Without her, I'm doing Bingo So two yeses and one no.

I am a dog groomer and have a shop out of my house so my babies are all there with me, but now that Madchen is home she is the official customer greeter, for the dogs that are friendly.My other ones have to go outside when customers come and can't come back in until I take the dog to the shop(converted bedroom) and then I let them in.

Unfortunately, because of my profession (commercial construction) I am not able to take Molly with me to work.
Having said that, its probably best anyways, because I work in very hazardous conditions and I wouldnt be able to bear the thought of Molly getting hurt while at my work.
Besides, she's way too nosey and would constantly be getting into trouble, and very liable to injest something harmful to her.

I wish I could bring Megan to work but can't. And even if I could I don't know how much work anyone would get done with Megan giving everyone boxer kisses all day long.

I'm hoping to be able to one day!! I work with my boss in a warehouse with all the big wigs upstairs so it wouldn't be too bad! My boss, though, is one of those "no kids, no pets at work type!" Well, he was till he adopted his little girl Reagan. He's brought her in here a couple time but not for the whole day! Anyway, I'm thinking that it shouldn't be that big of a deal. It's a warehouse for goodness sakes!! Oh-well. I'm not sure how Apollo would do here. It would be interesting to say the least!
