Pet Standards

Sorry if this is in the wrong place I couldn't figure out where to put it. The hubby got orders for Ft. Knox so next year we will be moving to Kentucky. Peanut gets his first chance to set foot on American soil and I get to be back in the states(will have been in Germany for 4 years by the time we leave). So I was looking at housing rentals in the local paper and they all kept saying Pet Standards. Does anyone have any idea what this means? We will most likely have to rent before we get housing on base so I want to be prepared.
Oh and today is Peanuts 1st birthday.

Sorry cannot help you on the 'pet standards' issue. But I just wanted to wish peanut a happy first birthday!!

Pet standards probably means there is some sort of restrictions. Like only one pet, or no pets over 20lbs, or no dogs, or these breeds are not allowed.....etc. You would most likely have to call to find out what their specific standards are.

I would have thought so to if almost every ad in the paper didn't say Pet standards. So I am thinking it must be something specific to that area maybe.
