i get that alot when i walk chloe in the park, she doesnt even resemble a pit bull- i always wanted to go to the shelter and take a pit for walk in the park and wonder what they think that is prehaps a boxer??

You know whats funny, is that there arn't very many all white pitbulls, there are alot more white boxers than there are white pitbulls.

But since they are mostly white with colored spots, I guess people associate that with a pitbull, but I have seen more boxers like that than pits.


:D and if you put your arm in a pitbulls mouth its not going to be like a bear trap :D unless you are doing it to a dog you don't know, and even then it will probably only bite you not latch on. Now if you are in an actual fight with one than they might latch on :D but why would you get into a fight with a dog?

Maybe get into an argument with it about what breed it is LOL!:D

I was thinking the same thing. Even my hubby doesn't call me "sweetheart". People are so funny about the breed thing. Being a mix, people always ask what Zoe is. I tell them a boxer mix and you would be amazed at the things people have thought she was mixed with! I commonly get a mastiff (probably due to her coloring... but HELLO... she is way to small), pitbull, lab or sheperd. Now how different do those dogs all look. I guess everyone has there opinion. No matter... I love Zoe whatever she is!

I disagree, I do think they resemble Boxers when they are young pups. NOt saying they look identical but they do resemble Pit's IMO. Of course I come to the conclusion I am the only one on this site that thinks so but I guess my parents, older brother, 2 closest friend also think they do too. How could we be so uneducated when it comes breeds? How ignorant of us.
