I'm not sure if this is the right forum so mods. feel free to move it.

Last night my fiance said that Fiona peed the bed. But he said that she didn't even realize she had done it. They were sleeping and he felt his hand get wet (she curls underneath his arm).

Do puppies pee the bed like kids do?

usually when pups pee like that its a sign of a possible urinary tract infection starting. Lots of info has been previously posted on peeing in the bed. You may want to use the search tool here and see what others had to offer up. I would get her checked by the vet for a UTI though. Good luck

I'm glad I found this thread! Cooper did this the other night...He's had no accidents in the house for months and then I woke up to him licking and I got up to take him outside as that is how i usually know he has to go potty but there was a wet spot around him so I immediatly thought he had thrown up but upon closer inspection I realized he peed. I didn't even think of the UTI...How do they test for those urine tests? Cooper won't pee unless he's at home doesn't matter how long we're gone so I hope there are other ways to test for them! Anyways I hope your baby doesn't have any more of those nights! :)

Well the vet tech followed Rowdy around outside with a little tray until he went. It did take him a bit since he wasn't used to the audience! If they can't collect it there, they will send you home with something to get them a sample.

Champ did this when he was a puppy; he didn't end up having any UTI or anything, just a small bladder. I would get that ruled out and then I wouldn't worry about it; your pup will prolly grow out of it. It can be kind of a pain while going through it, but it gets better!!! Prolly no one is more embarrassed than your pup!!
