Peeing inside the house!

First off let me give a brief history of Biff. Right now he is 7.5 months old and we've had him since he was 3 months. We live in the Los Angeles area so when we first got him he preferred to sleep outside since the weather was hot. Now that the temperature is dropping he sleeps and spends more time indoors. Since he slept outside I never had to pee-pee train him but now pees when he's indoors (without warning). He still poops outside because I control his feeding and walking times but how do I get him to pee outside. Ultimately I would like him to ask us to let him out. Any suggestions would help.

Peeing

Don't feel alone. Molly is 10 weeks and when it is warm outside she does wonderful with her potty training. She actually loves to be out. But now that it has gotten quite cold, I have to pick her up to take her out. She then will only go pee and beg to come back inside. If I give in and bring in in she will usually poop within minutes. So in the mean time I am freezing outside waiting for her to relieve herself. This usually only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
Molly doesn't give us any clue she has to go potty either. She'll be playing and the next thing you know she is squatting, we then quickly swoop her up and take her outside. In which she hates now because of the cold.
Believe me, I know your frustration. I just hope with time and consistancy she will eventually get it.

You may want to also regulate his water for a bit until he catches on. We did that with Cash and it worked wonders. We gave him water and food and twenty minutes later walked him and take the water and food away, then a few hours later, water only and twenty minutes later walked him again. And so on, until he learned to hold it until it was time to go. You should also do what Dan said and look it up.

P.S. use white vinegar to clean where he pees and it will kill the pee smell. he won't want to pee there again.

thanks for the advice everyone. Right now I'm working on teaching Biff how to bark when he needs to go out. I have also had some success just by monitoring when he drinks his water.
