peeing in house??

our suggs is nearly 6 month old, when we first nbrought him home he had a few accidents as expected, he went through a period of being really good and letting you know when he needs to go. then recently he has been peeing in the house alot more frequently even when he has just come back in from having one. surely he should be getting out of it not doing it more?
anyone else had a similar experience or understand why he is doing this? thanx

Have you taken him to the vet to check for a UTI? Also you may not be leaving him out long enough. I know my dogs will urinate and then stop and go sniff a leaf or something and then go back to it. Are you bringing him right in after he finishes? If so you may want to leave him out an extra 5 minutes or so.

Me too!

I've had the same thing happen with my boxer. When she was about 8 months we had a few unexpected accidents, now we are just more careful about making sure she goes out right away after she wakes up, or after it's been a while since her last trip out to pee. It has worked for us, but I agree about looking into the UTI thing if you don't think it's related to too long between potty breaks!

Thanks for that guys, it most probably will be down to the length of time between, although we do try to take him out as soon as he wakes up, it just threw me a little as he seemed to control it alot better when he was younger but i will look into the UTI thing.
