Our puppy is 13 weeks old and has recently started peeing in his crate every time we leave him in there. Here is the situation:
-He didn't use to pee in his crate unless we left him in there too long.
-Now he pees even if we only leave him in there for two hours.
-We are sure that he has peed and pooped before we leave him in his crate.
-We leave him in his crate all night and he usually sleeps all night and does not pee (so we know he can hold it).
-He seems to have started this behavior when we graduated our other dog from the crate and let him roam around the house. He used to be in a crate right next to our puppy.
-We have tried moving the crate to where our other dog usually sleeps, making the crate smaller, putting his empty food bowl in the crate, and putting toys in his crate.
-We can't lock our other dog in a room with him because he will get anxious and chew on things. As long as he has the whole house to roam in he is fine.
What else can/should we do?
