Peeing in crate after 7 months????

Hello again...we are now going through Moses peeing in his kennel after him peeing in our bedroom....If you did not read my other post this is what has went on in the past week..We moved his kennel out of our bedroom because we have a new baby on the way and we did not have room to put the bassinet because his kennel is so large....well the night we moved it we let Moses sleep with us in our bedroom on the floor which he had done twice before and no problems.. went to bed at 11:30 and let all the dogs out before going..I got woke up at 3:00am to Moses peeing on our carpet,so we went back to putting him in his kennel at night..the night he went in our room he also peed in his kennel later that day..and again this morning he peed and was laying in it my husband told me..Is is mad we moved his kennel???? He is a year old now and has not went in his kennel in over 7 or more months so this is very frustrating for us,..I have put a divider in his kennel to see if maybe that works..and the UTI is ruled out,the vet found nothing..I know they say dogs don't do things because they are mad at you but from whats going on here I am not so sure about that..Any help or advise would be great..do I just start from square one with the crate training? Help help its very frustrating,thanks

i am having the same problem... dagney (our male) is one now... he was always good with not peeing in his crate... Lilah, our 6 month old female, was a pet store buy (got her at 12 weeks) so we knew it would take longer to crate train her... for the past few weeks, the dogs are in the same crate (cause lilah won't stop barking if she is alone in her crate) and today, after only 3 hours, my husband came home and saw that one of them peed in the crate... 2 days ago, dagney walked into the crate and peed in it and then walked out... lilah also has been known to pee on our carpet when ever she feels like it without going to the door to tell us (dagney rings the bell we got for them)...

i may get lilah checked for UTI... but i definately feel your frustration

sounds like the kennel might be too large. hopefully placing that divider inside will help. also, he too may have been confused after the move and transition. dogs like routine, especially when they are in the process of potty training. it might also be one fluke thing. keep us posted on what goes on.
