Well here we go agian! Last night when I got home....I was greeted by a white boxer acting crazy. Payton got out of her cage AGIAN! Roxy was still sooo upset, and Payton had pooped in 2 different rooms, peed 2 times, had fish food from one end of the house to the other (they were the pellets for the Oscars), ate 3 plastic cups and gosh knows what else. I let Roxy out and we got ready to go bye bye. I went outside and got in my car, and remembered I had forgotten the movies. On my way back in I was once agian greeted by my little devil. It was not even 5 min, and she got out. So I thought "I'll show her I will lock both locks!" YEAH RIGHT....she got out of that too. So Roxy is now in the Paytons cage and Payton will forever be in Roxy's cage. The sneaky little devil....I watched her do it once last night to see how she did it. She paws and paws until the bottom lock comes undone. Then she proceeds to squeeze out the door with the top locked stil locked!!! Roxy's cage has a different kind of lock, so we will see today what happens!

She sounds sneaky!! I'm sorry I had to laugh at your story...but nothing surprises me with a boxer! I'm sure you're frustrated, though!!

Payton, you are supposed to stay where your mommy puts you!!!! Luna is the same way...she broke through her soft crate so now its an inside doggie house!!!! i think they are all devils...they just choose when to use it!!! i can't help but laugh when luna gets into trouble because the things she finds to eat...like the little pink bow on nylas collar from the groomers...the tip of a wooden knitting needle!!!

I have to laugh as I read these posts. It is soooooooo good to know that I am not alone. One day I got home from work to discover that Jesse got into where I keep the hamster supplies and he broke open two bags of the shredded cedar bedding. Needless to say, it was alllllllllllll over the house. And he was so happy! Another day he found a loose string on the berber carpet that goes down the stairs to the laundry room and discovered that if he pulled that string, it would keep on getting longer and longer. So, I now have half a step that totally unraveled and bare, lol.

Thank you all for making my life seem normal!

The teenage phase is here!!! I'm not laughing at you...laughing with you! We go through the same thing, although Bayleigh has not tried escaping her crate. The other day, I forgot to latch her crate door when I closed it. I came home from work and the door was still closed. Major brain fart!

I know how difficult this is. Samson done this, but he finally got over his seperation anxiety when I took a two week vacation and stayed home. I dont know how this helped, but it did.

I feel your pain!!! I am so glad I'm not alone!!!! Hercules is a little houdini as well. The last time he got out,(3rd time), I came home to a white puppy with white powdered sugar all over his black mug... yup, the crumbcake was gone!!! And that was with cable ties all over the crate, holding the walls together, along with the locks. ughhh! And they seem so proud of themselves too! I can't stop laughing!!!

If it's any consolation, they usually grow up to be well behaved and trustworthy; you won't have to crate them forever and not fear coming home to a ransacked house! Isis is 10 and is as good as gold every single day and has been since about 2 or 3 years old , so chin up, it does get easier! ;)

Payton, you be a good girl for Mommy! nonoion

Hey my wife and I just entered the teenage stage with Hercules he is a little devil. He still has major anxiety problems when we leave but is very good 90% of the day. He has escaped from the crate twice and ate my Moms couch, injested the stuuffing fibers and shredded two big wooden lolipop sticks and an entire entemans crumb cake which he clawed off the counter. $400 bucks later after the vet had searched his digestive tract and intestinal cavity he is as vibrant as ever. He has a ritual at 9PM every night that he must challenge me Dada to a playful fight and wrestling match until he tires himself out and falls asleep for the evening at around 10:30.

If your boxer ever escapes and looks a bit not with it, bring him to the vet immediatley for an evaluation. The vet told me if he did not vomit the couch fibers he could have been in some serious troubles.

His anxiety will have me on Prozac quicker than him.
