any one had this happen to their boxer. a whole litter of 6-8 pups has the parvovirus has any one had this happen and did they have any long term effects the breeder dosnt know if they will survive, im crushed we chose a pup and dont know if it will survive

Parvo is a very deadly disease if it goes untreated. Is she seeking treatment for the puppies? It is also very contagious.

When I was younger we had a puppy with parvo and the vet did not think she would make it she was so so sick. With a lot of love and help from our vet she did pull thru. She lived a very long and happy healthy life!! She was approx. 18 years old when she went over the bridge.

actually the breeder is very reputible the pups were 5 weeks old when diagnosed the mother and father are from show homes and have all been tested 4 every thing possible at purdue university. so its not the breeders fault i was just wandering if any one has had a pup that had the disease and did they come away at full health
