11-12 hrs alone for PUPPIES with NO breaks to let them out?!??!
I would say to crate, but 11-12 hrs is WAAAY to long for a puppy to be in a crate. You could try to put the crate up to the doggie door allowing them to go to a very small contained part of the yard where they can come in and out as they please...but they are too young not to get into trouble outside.... Honestly, others may have suggestions on this that are better than mine, but that's all I can think of....boxer puppies get very bored and destructive when left alone to their own devices and 11-12 hrs for an older, well-trained dog is a long time, but for puppies, it's a lifetime. Can ANYONE come during the day to play with them, let them out, run around, etc.? A lunch break or neighbor maybe??

If you cant find a dog walker for the pups, Id suggest leaving them in a bathroom or kitchen so that the "mess" will be minimal. They can NOT be expected to hold it that long and will get into everything. Make sure the room they are left in is puppy-proofed.

Morpheus is 8 wks old and has been with us for one week. He does #2 outside no problem, however he pees inside on paper and has done this 90% of the time with very few accidents. We have two places for him to go, should we decrese this to one place in the house and then none at all and how quickly should we get him going outside. He will pee outside sometimes but will usually opt to go inside. He is also being great throught the night and will be in his kennel for six hours with out a fuss. When we let him out at five he goes. Is this length of time normal, or is he just being really really good to us.
Sorry for jumping in on your thread.....

I think be using paper in the hosue your are just teaching your dog to go in a particular place in the house which is a no no. I would defintely start taking the pup outside and teaching that this is the only place that is acceptable to poddy. Good luck :)
