Boxer Pal
Hannah is my 4 year old Boxer baby.Yesterday she started vomiting every hour. It was nasty green bile looking stuff. I took her to the vet and she took blood and diagnosed her with pancreatitis. I'm wondering if this is a common thing for Boxers(she's always had a sensitive tummy)or should I get a second opinion from another vet? The vet put her on some antibiotics, steroids, tagment, reglan and lixotinic. Also we got some special new food for her. If anyone has any thoughts,I would relly love to hear them.

Super Boxer
We lost our lab last year to pacreatitis (sp). Our Vet thought it was due to the junk food she was exposed to. She was a barn dog and clients would always feed her their tidbits. She was 15 years but we felt horrible that we had unwittingly contributed to her demise.

I do not know if the disease is more prvatent in boxers. I do know we now have a strict do not feed policy in affect for the dogs and cats.
