I'm going to miss the picnic because I fly out again on Saturday.... I would have had to come boxer-less again :( I'm trying to schedule a week Toffee will come visit and it's tentative for the week of Oct 18 and the weekends on either side. My parents have to see if they can find someone to watch the horses (they'd have to fly down and drive back to MI with Tof). I'll keep you guys posted.

I might be able to make Sunday. I have a wedding on Saturday, so I'll be tied up with that all day, but Sunday might be possible. Are you thinking about the Bark park? Let us know what you decide!

I hope some of you can make it on Saturday! It's always a fun day with quite a few boxers and boxer wannabe's So that you all know, this is not a "show", it is an informal puppy match with a picnic and lots of people talking about boxers! The EBC will selling hotdogs and having a raffle to benafit the clubs rescue. They will probably also have t-shirts and other things to sell. It's a great way to meet others who love boxers as much as we do! Here is the thread about the match show, picnic & doggy costume party...

Cookie has her costume all ready and I am sure she will NEVER forgive me for it, but she looks adorable! Make sure to bring your camera's as there will likely be LOTS of photo ops!

PS...I am 38 :eek: damn that hills getting steeper every day!

sorry for asking about going this past weekend and then not getting to check back in on it. i got really busy over the weekend and had basically no time. i do really want to get to the dog park sometime soon. it is going to start to get really cold soon. so if any of you want to set something up, let me know. nicole and tanya: if you guys would even want to meet at the park by "A" plus, we could do that. don't they have a fence around the kiddy play ground? get back to me. HUGO is getting way to anxious!! bye guys.

I think they just have the border around the play area, but dogs aren't allowed in there! The only thing I thought of was the base ball cages on the other side of the street, but I don't know if its fenced in?? I will have to take a walk with bails and see!! It is fenced in the tennis courts, but I dont' think dog doo would clean up so nice!! Ya know??

AWESOME news, everyone! My girl is coming for a visit!!! I am going to be picking her up in Michigan on October 16 and driving down to Philly with her (arriving early evening, I would guess). She'll be here for the whole week--I'm flying my parents down on Oct 21 and they will stay for a few days and then drive back to MI with her on October 24. I have the best parents.

I am SO excited!!




(for those of you that don't know, my work keeps me traveling almost non-stop, so Toffee has stayed in MI with my parents so far and hasn't seen our new apartment :()
