another boxer pup near us!!

i know exactly where that is also, i would imagine anyone would if you lived near q-town!! do you know where they built the new school in perkasie? well i live right across the street. it's only about a 10 minute drive for me!! the three of us should set up to meet like tanya said and soon. hugo is dyin to play again. he hasn't been to the dog park in about 3 weeks. i am trying to work out time to get there. talk to you guys!

Long-term Bash date?

Awww... It's so nice to see so many BW Boxer owners in close proximity! I wish we had BW-ers nearby.

Are there any long-range plans for a Bash? Panzer would love to go to an all Boxer get-together. On occasion we'll see another Boxer at the park but their owners are not as friendly as the BW gals I've met! The boxing and aerobatics that Panzer seems to favor are seen as aggression by the owners (of all breeds) or the dogs' temperaments are such that they refuse to play. A little bizarre... especially when you think about a typical Boxer.

So can we try to set a date for a true Boxer Bash?! :D

We can definatley get an all boxer bash together. I have been trying to think of somewhere to go - even if we had to rent it or something. Any ideas?? Anyone?? I will keep thinking. We should try to get something together before it gets too cold. I am willing to travel anywhere!

I am so excited to find boxer parents nearby! I haven't taken Cadence to the dog park yet, only b/c she's a complete spazz, but she's getting better now, so I might try it this weekend if it's nice. We definitely should get together sometime. Weekends are best for us, only b/c of the work schedule.

Suggestion for a location

There's always the Talley Day Dog Park down here in Wilmington. But that's the problem - it's down here and most of you guys are up there.

It does have positives - fenced, easy access from I-95, water for dogs, and friendly dog owners. Granted the park will be busier on a weekend, however most dog owners do not stay for more than an hour. When I take Panzer I try to let him play for at least two hours.

That's the only good dog park I know of near me. I'd be willing to travel as long as my boss hasn't scheduled me for that weekend.

I am kinda trying to stay away from dog parks for a little while since Bailey got bit the other weekend! I would love to get a "just" boxer bash together somewhere! But thats the problem - finding a place!!

dog park?

This weekend is supposed to be really nice. partly cloudy and high 70's! I would love to go on saturday or sunday around 11 a.m. I know that i do not have work on sunday, and i do not think that i work on saturday, but not sure. so if anyone would like to meet there this weekend that would be great!! i am very flexible with time on the weekends, so if anyone wanted to make it a little later in the day maybe around 1 p.m., that is fine with me.
I just wanted to ask everyone how old they are, hope you don't mind me asking. Talk to you all soon. seeya!!

I might be going to the boxer picnic with Jennifer if anyone is interested - its a leashed event - but it sounds like fun!
