PA Sunday June 13th

I have been lurking since I first joined a month ago. My sweet girl is just a year and a month old and her name is Delilah!!!! We live in Philly and we go to two different dog parks....... one fenced in and the other not. The fenced in one is at Pretzel Park in Manayunk (where the bike race takes place). The folks there are really nice and most of the dogs are not agressive. I've been taking Delilah there since she was 4 mo. and she loooooves going to the park. I also take her to Pastorius Park in Chestnut Hill. It's a gorgeous park. There's a leash rule there but no one pays any attention to it. There's also a pond there for any of you who have swimmers (I know...... Boxers aren't natural swimmers but Delilah does love the water. Anyone up for a romp in either park shoot me an email.

Mo.......I would love to see pics of your pup!! Those dog parks sound nice. My Ava likes to romp in water and Tanya's pup, Bailey jumps right in and digs around....who ever said Boxers don't like water?? we'll all have to plan a bash again soon so we can meet you and Delilah!

I would be willing to go anywhere for a bash!!! Just want to get a bunch of boxer together to do it!!! I just have one request, it has to be fenced in! Bailey is a wonderer, and if I loose track or take my eye off of her for one sec, she's like to go chase a squirlle somewhere or something! I just don't trust her well enough to go to a unfenced in area, and she gets way to excited to hold on a leash.
Hope we can plan something good!

There's a really great dog park in Philly that's fenced in. It's in Manayunk, which is right off the Belmont Ave. exit of I-76 (the Schuykill Expressway). It's kinda small but would be able to accomodate a group on a Sat. as the park isn't quite as crowded on the weekends for some reason.

I don't have an exact address but I can give you very simple directions via email or even post them. It's 2 turns off the expressway exit near a huge church that you can see from the expressway. My email addy is monahead@icdc.com.

Hey, let me know the best way to get there!! I am always willing to play!! This month is kinda sucky for me thought!! I am dog sitting all month. He is a very good boy, but he gets scared when even just bailey gangs up on him. I don't want him to go throught that. Big bad GSD is a wuss!! ha ha.
And I don't want to leave him at the house alone, that's not fair to him!!
