I can't make any dates till mid october. I have showers, weddings, etc all in the next few weeks. I'm moving too so after I get settled I can meet up!

Well, I am still going to try and go on Sunday to let Bails get some play time if anybody can make it let me know!
As for next weekend, I have a wedding to go to on the 20th. Maybe the 21st depending on how I am feeling!!!!!
Sorry none of my boxerbash plans never work out. Maybe someone else can try to plan one before it gets too cold out!!!!

To anyone who is interested in coming:

I have slapped together a makeshift boxer bash/ birthday party for September 20th. For any of you who didn't know, I lost my boxer to the ex in our break-up and haven't seen her in almost 3 months. She will be shown by the breeder at the Butler show on Saturday. Sept. 20th and we will be having a b-day celebration for Jewellee after the boxers are done showing. Anyone who can make the show that day is welcome to come join us. I know Jill (oz4lines) is definitely going to be there so come along for the fun. The more the merrier. If you go to the thread in the boxer ring titled "BW vibes succeed again" you will find the address to the fairgrounds and can then get directions from yahoo maps.

Hope we have some more BW members show up!

Sunday the 21st

Me and Loki went to the berk park this afternoon and had a blast.

There were 3 other boxers there and many other dogs. It pooped him out, and that is what counts. Id love to go back tmw, if anyone is up for it. Let me know we will try to be there again Sunday around 2:30.

No Park for us

I'm afraid Cookie is not allowed to go to the park for at least 3 weeks :( She came into season on friday so unless we can do an all female play group on private property we won't be able to attend.

I can't even let her play with neutered males because all they want to do is "get" her anyway. When we were at the park friday morning a fixed boy wouldn't leave her alone...no matter what she did, that was when I realised why he wouldn't leave her alone.

So Cookie and I will be doing looong walks for the time being.

I know kennel cough is a risk we all take at the dog park but I just wanted to let you guys know that Loki caught the bug and I'm pretty sure we picked it up at the North Wales bark park.
I just posted a thread in the health forum about this.
Not a big deal we will ride it out. But we are sad we cant go back to the park for awhile.
