Well,
just to sum up the whole "bleeding spay scar" thread...

I took Laila to the vet and the doctor said it looked normal. He said the "bleeding" was just fluid leaking out and if it was somehow trapped under the skin it would be a seroma, so Carrie was right on target with that. It turns out the whole thing was really my fault b/c I was taking her on leash walks which the receptionist (who was talking to me about post-op needs) said would be okay... but the doctor said was not okay. All that extra motion caused the leakage. Anyway, I just wanted to follow up in case someone does a search on the topic sometime later.

Yeah, Glade to hear that she is ok :D It is soooooo hard to keep them calm and quite after surgery. Hopefully the time will fly by and before you know it, her sutures will be out and she can go again!!!!

I don't think you were over-reacting at all. You love your baby and was concerned about her like a good mom would be.
