Outside tempatures...what's too hot/cold

Is that what it's called?? I have a stuffed moose (not real, a stuffed animal) and Luka can NOT keep his chompers off of it! He's never even noticed it before. He's been kinda naughty the last few days and will be 5 months next week.

I'm with you on that. Makena will be 5 months next week and she's been going wild. I think it's partly due to the fact that it's been raining buckets for 3 weeks and she hasn't been able to do her usual play dates. Is it El Nino this year?

As naughty as she gets though, you can't help but love her!

As for the temperature... she loves to be VERY warm. She even sleeps completely under the covers so anything below 60 and she's shivering.

Okay, so the truth comes out. Jen likes to show off for the neighbors. She has her dog trained so there is an "excuse" to be running around the yard in her panties :D

It's a lot better than when I used to stand out there for no reason! Maybe that's why I got pyjamas for Christmas?

Speaking of being cold... it was a bit colder this morning around 3am or so...maybe in the mid-30s...

I accidently woke up my little girl Courage from her deep sleep this morning and I told her sorry and to go back to sleep on her bed. 5 minutes later I noticed that she's not in her bed, so i looked up to find her sitting in front of the heat lamp...I mean literally within 3-4 inches of the thing. I told her again to go back to sleep and not get herself burned... I don't know how she can stand the heat that close. I feel hot on my face if that thing is within 4 feet of me, much less 4 inches... I guess she was awoken to the cold and she didn't like it.

My boxer babies are spoiled when it comes to going outside all I have to say is " do you want to go and play in your pen" and they go nuts, running around the house doing burns and everything. In the summer it gets close to 100 degrees factoring in the humidity, so we have a tarp hung over thier pen and a plastic swimming pool ( which they love ). They like being outside but they love coming in also, first thing they do when they get in is head straight for the air conditioner vents. In the winter here it really doesn't get that cold, but when it does get cold they have fleece coats that I put on them. If it's to cold I usually don't put them in their pen because I can't stand to see them huddled in a ball shivering!! I will just put them in the screened in front porch with plenty of blankets. The luxury of North Alabama is it's never really cold or unbearably hot!!

Daisy doesn't mind the cold, but she really slows down in the heat of the summer. We often get a few days in July that are over 30C (91.4F), On those days we simply take her for her runs early morning or in the evening when it is cooler.

As for the winter, she doesn't seem to mind the cold, although the runs are generally less than 30 minutes, because I'm a whimp. Even without her jacket she runs outside and jumps around in the snow.
(When it gets really cold I make her ware her jacket outside).
