Our Wee Charlie

Our wee Charlie went to the bridge yesterday, she was only 5 years old.

She had been battling an auto-immune disease for the last three months and just as she was starting to respond to the treatment her body was becoming worn out with all the medication she was on. She didn't wake up on Saturday morning, she slept away peacefully in her own bed with Dino beside her.

She was simply the best dog anyone could ever ask for, she was my shadow in her last few weeks and I am at a loss without her.

Run free at the bridge my wee girl, boxer burn like you used to and be pain free, find Connor and Sophie to keep you company until we are all together again.

Oh I'm so sorry. This seems to be such a sad time here on BW, we are loosing so many so close together :( what a sweet girl to go so peacefully on her own. That's what we all hope when the day comes to say good bye , that's the way would want to see them go. Peacefully on their own. Still not any easier.... Many nubbies wiggling and greeting her hello on the other side...much happier there then we are here :( sorry for your loss.
