Our trip to Petco

On the subject of parents with their kids - Mason and I ran into a woman with two children - one she was carrying, the other around 10. The 10 year old shrieked when seeing Mason (who is 10 months of pure love for goodness sake!). The mother said to the child "It's OK!" then included me as she continued "I'm sure he's nicer than he looks" I was speechless - did she think Mason looked mean or ugly??!! I wanted to reply something about her children looking both, but simply replied "he's as friendly as he is handsome!"

Trip to Petco

Boomer made his first trip to Petco this weekend. I was amazed when a woman cringed when Boomer wagged his tail at her. She told us that she liked dogs, but that ours was huge (he's 4 months!).

While I am empathetic to people who are afraid of animals, I find it difficult to find empathy in a pet food store that allows animals. What did the woman expect?

aaawwww thats so sad :( ... poor Riley.. and he's such a handsome boy how can anyone resist that sweet face??? Thoes people should be so ashamed of themselves for anything like that.. I could understand if that mother wouldnt let her kids near Riley if he was say BARKING or sumfink but waggin his tale looking exited.. how can that be frightening?? people are weard.. and its really starting to GET ON MY NERVES when people tell me that boxers are UGLY!! and it actually hURTS when they say that and i dont even own one..... yet..
