We've had a problem with ants lately and have been setting out Terro for them. None of the bait stations are gone, but we caught our girl liking up the ants that were crawling on the floor. I'm pretty sure they had already been at one of the bait stations. Does any one know if Terro is harmful to dogs. The main ingredient is Borax. Thanks

I wouldn't think that Borax is really bad. It is certainly a lot better than other deadly ant killers. You might want to contact the manufacturer of Terro to see what they have to say about it and dogs.

I have used Borax on my carpet to get rid of fleas, but I have always used it when the dogs haven't been home and I vacuum it up before the dogs return. i am sure there were still traces around and it didn't seem to harm the dogs any :)

This past Thursday, Roxy found a piece of cardboard from last year that had been treated with Terro. I don't know where she found it, but I did use Terro last year. Anyway, I immediately called Terro and customer service assured me that Terro would not hurt Roxy because it is just like Borax soap and some additional non-harmful ingredients.
