Well, I want to thank all you people for being so thoughtfull and understanding. It has been a great help for me and my wife. Since our boy Slash was going to die, in the end we decided to let him have an operation after all. Just minutes ago I picked him up in the clinic, and altough he seems very tired, I hope we've bought him some more time with us and his two baby sisters. Let's hope he'll make it. The vet said that it's a long shot, but we took it, I find we owed him that much after being so long with us. If his kidneys can keep up, he might actually have a chance, even though he is nearly 13, which is pretty old for a boxer as you know. For some reason I believe that it is thanks to you people that he made it so far, thanks to your prayers and sending healing vibes or just, well, care or be in your thoughts... Thank you all, and please, hope with me he'll make it through the next days to come. Today has been a rough day, and so will the night be (I won't leave him a single second out of sight, just in case), but we feel we can deal with it, mostly thanks to you lovely people! Bless you all, we'll keep you posted. And sorry for the poor English, in Belgium we speek Dutch and French, not English..
