I'm very sorry to hear about Slash. I know the depth of the pain that you feel, as do many of us who post here on the RB. We completely understand how attached you get to these wonderful dogs, who aren't even dogs really, but our own children. Treasure all of your memories over the past 13 wonderful years that you shared with Slash. These will bring you comfort in the days ahead. Believe me, I cry a lot after losing my girl 2 months ago. Some days are worse than others, but rest assured that he is safe and happy and completely free from pain. I can verily type through my tears. You have completely described in words the feelings I have felt a million times since I have lost my sweet boxer. Please know that I truly understand how horrible it is to go through what you have to face...the emptiness, the sorrow and never being able to touch or hold your sweet baby ever again.
