Oscar maybe ready for more freedom?

Hello. Well I think Oscar has proved himself trustworthy. I have left him out of his kennel for 4 hours straight for the last few days and no accidents or chewing. So I am considering not using the kennel. He is 18 months now and I am a bit frightened that I may be jumping the gun but I think he has earned some freedom. How old was your furbaby when you let him have free range of your home?

Dorian was about a year old when we put the crate away for good. Though we did use a baby gate for a while after that. Now we dont use either and he does fine with the run of the house all the time.
