I just have a quick question. I usually use nature's miracle for Narnia's oopsies, but have just discovered i am out! I am not going to just leave the piddle on the floor until I can get more, so I heard that vinegar works well to get rid of the smell. Does anyone have any input on this? Thanks in advance!

vinegar works very well, i use it for my intact male dog's marking spots. it also works well because they seem to hate the smell, making it less likely that they will return to the spot. you can mix it half and half with water or use it full strength. and it doesn't leave any mark on the carpet. good luck with the potty training! i will be in your shoes in 6 weeks:o)

BTW, i replied to your post in the sitting forum, we are also stationed at ft. bragg. we live on-post, are you on post or off?

Thanks for the input! It does seem to be working... I know my nose isn't nearly as sensitive as narn's is but after the vinegar dries, i can't really smell anything whereas before, i could definately smell the urine. BTW I responded back to you in sitting!

I use vinegar (3/4 vinegar, 1/4 water) in a spray bottle as it is quite expensive to buy from the pet store (here they charge about 15US$ for a small bottle. Vinegar works wonder, cheaper and at least I know there is no chemical that I should worry about.
Do you want to know how many gallons of vinegar we have been using until now? (LOL)
