Ontario Canada Bash? Can We Do It?

A few Ontario people that frequent chat have mentioned getting together for a bash. Sounds like a good idea, but how many people are interested? As well, we need to know your locations so that it can be held as central as possible. You can either post here,or e-mail me.

I'd love to come. I've read so much about them. I'm located approx. 35 km north of Toronto. I'd definitley be willing to travel a couple of hours to get there.

Do either of you know of any dog parks in the GTA that we could use? I too am willing to travel to it and Toronto is only just under 90 min. away. One dear friend did mention I could have it here in my backyard! Now 20 or so people I could handle but not sure about 20+ boxers!

My wife has relatives in the Buffalo N.Y. and we drive the 402-401 to the queen E. How far are you from that?

Rob, I am right off of the 401. About midway point off of the 401, from the 402 to the QE! Woodstock has 4 turn offs. If you take the 59 north turnoff you are almost at my place! Would love to have you come! And you don't have to wait for a bash to visit either!

I've never visited but I have a friend in Mississauga with a boxer and he visits a dog park on the Lakeshore. The park is called Jack Darling Park located near Lakeshore & Mississaga Road (approx. 5 km east of Oakville & 30 km west of Toronto, just south of the QEW). My friend has mentioned that there ususally is 9-12 boxers whenever he visits daily. Could be a good location. It would take me approx. 1 hour to get there. You would have to make sure it was open for the event. If you need help planning, let me know!!

Hey sounds like a wonderful spot! Yes that is about an hour for me too! Not bad!! For sure we will need some help getting it going. Meanwhile, my son and daughter-in-law live in Oakville on the Lakeshore. I could get them onto doing some checking out of the park for us! Sounds like a good possiblilty! Let's keep each other posted okay?
