On furniture

Do you guys let your boxers on the furniture? ( My girlfriend got this new couch cover and she doesn't want my dog on the couch anymore. He seems so sad. )

All three!! I love coming home and snuggling up with the dogs after work. I have two in the chair with me now.

When I have fosters I don't let them on the furniture in case that is what their new owner wants, but it's soooo hard!

My dogs are ruined for life and I will never be able to get them off the furniture. I decided I will just buy slip covers when needed.

I think you should protest by getting a comfy blanket and laying down on the floor with your baby instead of using the couch.:cool:

Mine are allowed on the bed and on the family room couch, but not on the living room couch. Just don't want the in-laws and visitors to be shocked if my babies jump on the couch while they were visiting.

yeah, the only time they aren't allowed on the furniture is when we have company, and they're usually too busy wiggling around the room looking for love they don't care.

This topic has been discussed MANY a times. jray and I are notorious for sneaking our boys on the furniture when the DH's aren't looking.

If you'll look through the threads, you'll find one I posted recently called "Busted - Omar's snoring got us in trouble".

I work out of my house and when the boys aren't laying in my office, they are perched on their throne (i.e. the couch).

My husband typically doesn't like the boys on the furniture (especially our bed) because their hair sometimes bothers his allergies. But, DH himself will often invite the boys into his recliner with him to snuggle and watch TV. Usually he sits with one and I will have the other in my lap on the couch.

I swore that once we got our new couches, Nestle was not allowed on them. They were expensive and imported from Italy. That lasted all of 1 day. She has a big mushy fleece blanket we keep on the couch for her but she is usually half on us and half on my expensive leather couches.

It was just no fun being on the couch without her. Who would my husband and
I cuddle with? Each other? hahahaha.

How could resist that little baby boxer face??
