OMG i've got to rant

So I saw this thing about a reasonable price for a boxer from a reputable breeder being $1200 and I told this guy that that definetly isn't a reasonable price and he continues to tell me that these reputible breeders he got his boxer from charge $4000 because they are all show dogs and yadda yadda yadda and that if I paid $500 for mine it wasn't worth it because she obviously didn't have all the correct tests done. At $500 there is no way the breeders wouldn't have been able to recoup their costs. ARGGG so this guy is just irritating me and then turns around and tells me venus doesnt even look like a full blood boxer, when she looks exactly like his white boxer. AHHHH...ok i feel better thanks for the rant.

Well, this breeder better make room for a new boxer because there is no way that he will ever sell that one. Venus is beautiful and don't let anyone tell you different

Venus is an absolute doll! He's just jealous that she's more beautiful than his boxer. I paid $0 for Beau and I think he's one of the most handsome boxers I've ever seen (of course I am partial because I'm his mommy) and he's most definitely 100% boxer!

If someone wants to think that just because they were taken on the cost of the dog, that THEY have the better dog... Let them enjoy their little world and know the YOU have the richest dog.....

All boxers are beautiful ! The dogs that cost nothing give the same amount of love and have the same great personality than one that cost 5,000. By the way, your baby is beautiful!!!!!

I'm with Beausmom on this one, because I didnt pay anything for my dog either and I think he's the most handsome guy ever.

Your Venus is a cutie and you love her for her. You can't put a price on your dog, plus who needs to pay that much money for a dog when you can rescue a dog in need for less money--or free! Plus IMO rescues give double the love because they know how bad it was before you took them in and helped them out. Sometimes I just cry thinking about how my baby lived before we got him, and now I want to send pics to the guy who had him before and say look here my dog lives life 10x better than you do buddy!

My neighbor paid $2200.00 US for his Vizsla. She is a champion in conformation (she's spay now), obedience and agility. Plus just an all around cool dog. Baxter and her are best buddies.
