OK, these dogs are so emotional as us, I have a small story.

Me and my gf live together and we were having a lowpoint for a while. Nonetheless we renewed our relationship and when we were hugging each other our boxer had to be right in the middle of things. She is not allowed on the couch but she made her way up anyway as me and gf were making up, our boxer started kissing us and leaning and just loving us. They know everything! then know when things are bad and they sure know when things are good. I love the boxer lovin. No dog can match it.

My oldest (10 mos boy) absolutely loves my dad. If he sees him hugging my mom he try's to break them up by jumping up and trying to push my mom out of the way. it's soo funny. He only likes my mom if she isnt next to my dad. its good that you're like it better when you are together.

I just love the boxer breed. they really know when things get tough. and when they need to be in the middle of things.

They are so sensitive to emotions, aren't they? Spud also has to be in the middle of bf and I at all times...he's just so jealous...noone is allowed to hug mummy except him

I have a small story relating to how they 'read' our emotions. I had a strange guy following me and I saw him at a store one day. Well, after that I went home and was shaken by it all. Koda was by my side the entire day. He would sit right by my side and turn his head looking all around, from side to side. It's like he knew I was scared and was there to watch over me.

He also knows when I'm feeling down or stressed. He comes up and cuddles more than normal! I just love these dogs!! He likes to get in the middle of hugs as well!!

The other night I had food poisoning, an awful experience. I decided to just stay on the bathroom floor where it was cool. My BF was trying to keep Boomer occupied but he wanted none of that. He brought me all his toys one by one. Then he layed down next to me. The times I was getting sick he howled like he was in pain, but he refused to leave my side. It was a great feeling knowing that hes only 6 months and that he wants to take care of me as much as I want to care for him

Our boxers are the funniest creatures. Buster loves to get inbetween me and BF if we are having a cuddle.

If me and dh are argue about something, Tyson will sigh over and over again, like would you two just give it up already. And if we keep fighting, he'll finally get up and sit with his back to one of us and bark and the other. It always breaks the tension, because we say he's the referree and whichever one he is barking at is the one at fault so we hug to make him happy. I love that he knows how to end the disagreement. I love him period.

I also had food poisoning back in February and Tyson would not leave my side, he followed me everywhere and would lay right on my legs in bed, which was nice because he kept me warm. Too sweet, that boy is.
