Well we put up the tree on Sat and Mopar has been just fastenated with it. On Sat night he scooted on his tummy so he was under the tree looking up. It was too cute. Sunday morning. Mopar got in trouble 4 times for taking stuff off the tree and ended up sitting for a long time. Sunday night. Mopar gets the bright idea that if he puts something that belongs to him(his ball) on the tree he can take something off the tree. It really hurt his feelings when I told him NO No. It didn't help the DH sitting accross the room laughing. This is one that will go in his baby book.......

That's adorable. Glad you experience has been so positive. So far Baron has peed on mine, Zoie tries to drink all the water, and the poor cat fell out of it last night.

Oh I am so sorry but I had to laugh. That was too funny. If you get a mental picture of that one. Now my family is wondering what I am laughing at....

He's a clever boy! So I can leave my rubber ball on the tree and play with the nice shiney one instead

Many years ago, my first boxer boy decided to pee on the FAKE tree. I have no clue why but I learned early that anything can happen.
Then later in life as I got married and had other mixed breed rescue dogs, someone had the brilliant idea for tinsel or icecicles on the tree (ex). Warning- this can be very dangerous to dogs and cats alike. Not to mention that I have no intention of ever having to remove "hangers" from any animal again.

I'll stick to the top half of the tree decorated and the bottom au naturel. The tree skirt is an old plastic tablecloth, just to save the floor when Baron does it again. I learned.

Ah nothing like a trip to the vet on Christmas for an enema!!!! NO Icicles in my house once was enough!!!

My dogs were good untill their first long day at home alone we had 10 ornaments pulled down and a chain.

What goofy dogs  There have been no Christmas tree antics at my house. Nestle is always completely uninterested in the tree. I was all set for Hobart to be afraid of it because that's his usual reaction to decorations until he gets used to them but he had no fear of the tree and has left it alone. I guess Nestle's attitude has worn off on him. Lucky us!

Our tree is not decorated yet as we just got it yesterday. Thank goodness I hadnt started to decorate as it fell over today. Scared the dickens out of TUG. We fixed the tree tho! We tied it to the window locks. That stupid thing is not going to fall again. I hope all we went thru with this tree so far will not influence me to get a fake tree next year. I love real trees but this one is giving me fits! Thank goodness TUG hasnt been interested in it. YET!
